AWS Solutions Architect

About the Role

Our client, an AWS-focused partner, works with leading organizations across industries such as banking, telecommunications, and retail, helping them evolve from pilot projects to scalable, real-world outcomes powered by data and AI.

In this role, you will design and implement secure, high-performing, and scalable cloud architectures to support data-intensive and AI-driven applications. You will be responsible for delivering production-grade solutions, ensuring system reliability and compliance, and working closely with engineering, AI, and DevOps teams to bring solutions to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure cloud architectures aligned with AWS best practices and lead design reviews, including high-availability implementations
  
• Build high-throughput systems using microservices and event-driven patterns, optimizing performance through scaling, caching, and load balancing
  
• Implement strong security controls, monitoring, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, manage CI/CD pipelines, and enable automated zero-downtime deployments
  
• Design secure APIs and scalable data platforms, supporting real-time and batch pipelines for AI workloads
  
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, define SLAs/SLOs, and optimize cloud costs
  
• Provide technical leadership, collaborate across teams, and clearly communicate architecture decisions
  

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture or distributed systems
• Strong expertise in AWS services (compute, storage, networking, serverless)
• Proven track record of building scalable, production-ready systems
• Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js
• Solid understanding of security, compliance, and enterprise best practices
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• AWS certification (preferred) and experience with multi-account environments
• Familiarity with AI/ML platforms (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock) and DevSecOps practices
• Experience in regulated industries such as telecom or finance (a plus)
