Our client is seeking a People Technology Specialist to support the ongoing improvement, administration, and delivery of key HR systems, with a strong focus on Workday.

This role will support HR system initiatives, continuous improvement projects, testing activities, documentation, and day-to-day technical enablement. It is well suited to someone with hands-on exposure to HR systems who enjoys working across people, process, and technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and enhancement of existing Workday configurations to ensure alignment with business processes and HR requirements
  • Assist with HR system projects, including testing, documentation, release support, and rollout activities
  • Execute test scripts, record defects, and support solution validation during UAT and system changes
  • Respond to stakeholder queries and provide support and training where required
  • Contribute to automation and digital process improvement initiatives across the people technology function
  • Maintain and update process documentation, user guides, and system-related knowledge materials
  • Support compliance checks and ensure data handling aligns with privacy and governance requirements
  • Complete assigned tasks in line with team priorities, project timelines, and operational requirements
  • Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices across HR technology and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience supporting HR systems, ideally with exposure to Workday
  • Experience supporting or coordinating system testing, UAT, and release activities
  • Understanding of core HR processes and policies, ideally within a corporate or enterprise environment
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including HR, IT, and external vendors
  • Exposure to automation or digital process improvement initiatives is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work within structured workflows, procedures, and service expectations

Preferred Skills

  • Good functional knowledge of Workday
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems and employee data management
  • Experience updating or maintaining data within Workday
  • Familiarity with data privacy and compliance requirements
  • Documentation experience, including creating process guides or user guides
  • Workday certification or equivalent training is advantageous
