Senior Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a product engineering squad and contribute to the development of a modern, scalable platform. This role is suited to a hands-on engineer who can provide technical leadership, mentor others and help deliver secure, reliable and maintainable software at pace.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and help the team deliver secure, reliable and well-tested code.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, best practices, architecture discussions and technical feedback.
• Support team planning, prioritisation and technical decision-making.
• Lead by example through collaboration, accountability and strong engineering standards.
• Contribute to solution design, architecture, development, deployment and production support.
• Independently solve complex technical problems across a range of scenarios.
• Champion quality and help improve engineering processes over time.
• Work closely with product, engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver customer-focused outcomes.

Skills and Experience Required

• Strong hands-on commercial experience with Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience designing and building scalable software services.
• Strong full stack development background, including backend, frontend, DevOps and test automation.
• Experience with BDD, TDD and modern engineering best practices.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
• Experience with Docker, ECS and cloud-based deployment environments.
• Database experience across NoSQL and relational database systems.
• Exposure to AWS serverless technologies.
• Frontend experience with Vue.js or similar UI frameworks.
• Strong understanding of web application architecture.
• Passion for clean code, maintainability and high-quality engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Comfortable collaborating with distributed and cross-functional teams.
