About Us
Our client is an innovative tech start-up with employees spread across Australia and the Philippines, focused on providing technology solutions primarily to mitigate client risk. They are transitioning from a start-up to a scale-up and have ambitious growth targets for the next 12 months.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the client's software applications with high-quality and security standards.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code across the full stack.
- Work on front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks (React).
- Develop server-side applications using C# and .NET Core.
- Design and manage databases, including query optimization and migrations.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and infrastructure (Docker, IaC).
- Conduct thorough testing (manual and automated) including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues promptly in production and development environments.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and team members for requirements gathering and technical feasibility discussions.
- Contribute to code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and maintaining coding best practices.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for codebases, APIs, and system architectures.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and performance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Take ownership of DevOps tasks such as monitoring, logging, and incident response.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer working with C#, .NET Core, React, and SQL Server.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, JavaScript, React (or similar frameworks).
- Proficient in back-end development using C# and .NET Core.
- Experience in designing and optimizing relational databases (preferably SQL Server).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Hands-on experience in writing unit and automated tests.
- Good understanding of software security principles and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and collaborative tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote setup.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to team collaboration.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar).
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium).
- Background in DevOps practices and monitoring tools.
