KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Crew Travel Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating travel arrangements for our client's flight crew and other operational staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of travel logistics, airline operations, and crew scheduling requirements. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and book all crew travel arrangements, including flights, ground transportation, and hotel accommodations.
  • Collaborate with crew scheduling and dispatch teams to align travel logistics with flight schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with rest requirements and company travel policies.
  • Manage travel disruptions (e.g., delays, cancellations, weather impacts) and rebook affected crew efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of crew travel and related expenses for reporting and auditing purposes.
  • Serve as a point of contact for crew members regarding travel inquiries and issues.
  • Liaise with travel vendors, hotels, and transportation providers to negotiate rates and maintain service quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in travel coordination or logistics within the airline or aviation industry, with a strong understanding of crew movement and operational demands.
  • The successful candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication and computer skills, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Must have experience in travel coordination, airline operations or similar logistics-focused role.
  • Must maintain a high level of organizational skills and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Must display a professional demeanor when collaborating with all departments and roles within the organization.
  • Must have excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel, with high attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Must have a strong understanding of airline/aviation terminology and crew scheduling principles.
  • Must have ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
