Our client is seeking an experienced Country Manager & Shared Services Leader to lead and scale its Philippines operations as a strategic hub supporting regional and global business functions.

This role is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and development of the Philippines office, overseeing a large multi-functional team delivering support across shared services, global delivery, and specialist business functions. The successful candidate will combine strong people leadership, operational excellence, financial oversight, and local country leadership to ensure the Philippines platform continues to grow as a high-performing, compliant, and highly engaged business-critical center.

This is a senior leadership role requiring a proven ability to lead large teams, build culture, drive engagement and retention, manage cross-functional support operations, and partner with regional stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Philippines office as the senior in-country leader, ensuring alignment with regional and global business objectives.
  • Oversee a large multi-functional team across shared services, global delivery, and specialist support functions.
  • Drive operational excellence, service quality, and stakeholder satisfaction across key business areas.
  • Foster a high-performing and engaged workplace through strong leadership across talent attraction, performance management, learning and development, succession planning, and retention.
  • Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-trust culture that supports employee wellbeing and long-term growth.
  • Manage the office's operational and financial performance, including budgeting, workforce planning, facilities, and day-to-day site leadership.
  • Ensure the Philippines operation remains compliant with local laws, regulations, and internal governance standards.
  • Support the continued growth and strategic development of the Philippines office as a critical regional support and delivery hub.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior country leadership, shared services leadership, operations leadership, or general management role.
  • Demonstrated success leading large, multi-functional teams within a shared services, global business services, offshore delivery, or regional support environment.
  • Strong people leadership capability, with experience driving engagement, performance, succession planning, and retention.
  • Experience managing large-scale support operations across multiple business functions.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budget ownership and operational cost management.
  • Experience overseeing office operations, facilities, and in-country business administration.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience scaling teams and building high-performing workplace cultures is highly desirable.

Preferred Background

  • Experience within shared services, global business services, professional services, engineering consultancy, offshore delivery, or other regional support center environments.
  • Experience supporting regional or global stakeholders from a Philippines-based hub.
  • Track record of leading organizational growth, improving engagement, and maintaining strong retention outcomes.
