About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Registered Manager to lead a newly developed children's residential home in Slough. This home will support young people aged 8 to 17 with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) and associated complex needs.
This role is ideal for experienced Managers or ambitious Assistant Managers ready to progress into a senior leadership position. You will be supported by an experienced Responsible Individual through registration and operational setup.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of a four-bed residential children's home

Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015

Develop, monitor, and review individual care plans tailored to each young persons needs

Recruit, train, and manage a dedicated staff team

Foster effective relationships with families, local authorities, and external professionals

Conduct internal audits and quality assurance checks

Maintain accurate records of care, staff performance, and operational procedures

Oversee the Ofsted registration and inspection process
What Were Looking For
-
Experience as a Registered Manager or Assistant Manager in a children's residential setting

Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards and children's home regulations

Excellent leadership and team management abilities
-
A passion for delivering outstanding care and achieving positive outcomes

NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or working towards)
