Extruder Operator

PFL Services is looking to hire 3 Extruder Operators for a position in the Asheboro, NC area.

Payrate: $18/hour

Shifts:

• 1st shift, 7am - 3pm Monday through Friday
• 2nd shift, 3pm-11pm Monday through Friday
• 3rd shift, 11pm-7am Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:

• Select machine dies
• Determine setup procedures
• Reel extruded products into rolls or reels
• Specify lengths and weights of rolls or reels
• Replace worn dies
• Set controls to regulate vacuum, air pressure, sizing rings and temperature
• Synchronize speed of extrusion
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Locate defects on extruded parts
• Check for conformance to specifications
• Record product measurements
• Adjust controls as necessary, Install, connect, test and adjust equipment
• String up lines
• Clean tools and tooling
• Operate extruders

Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of plastic extruder experience
• Must provide resume
