Shop Helper

We are seeking a Shop Helper to work in a fabrication shop in Burlington, NC. This role is essential for supporting various tasks within the shop, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Pay Rate: $18/hour

Responsibilities

• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of products using hand tools and power tools.
• Will be assisting different departments hands on, i.e Welding, cleaning, assembly
• will be cleaning and organizing different types of metals, i.e stainless steel, sheet metal. ect.
• Performing little assembly with small brackets
• Organizing, cleaning and sweeping the shop.

Experience

• Previous experience in a shop is preferred.
• Must have previous experience with different metals and pipes.
• Welding experience.
• Familiarity with mechanical concepts, fabrication techniques, and assembly processes is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery related to production tasks.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
