What You'll Bring

Essential Experience:

  • Previous legal secretary experience, preferably in Workers Compensation and/or Personal Injury
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Fast and accurate typing (minimum 70 WPM)

  • Managing lawyer diaries and appointments
  • Building strong client relationships through professional liaison
  • Coordinating document requests and follow-ups
  • Overseeing matter progression and deadline management
  • Opening and closing legal matters

Document & Administrative Excellence:

  • Transcribing dictation within required timeframes
  • Drafting, formatting and refining legal documents and correspondence
  • Maintaining comprehensive filing systems and case records
  • Processing disbursements and cheque requisitions
  • Preparing professional bills and archiving completed matters
