About the Opportunity

As a Senior Laundry Attendant, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and care of guest garments, hotel linens, and uniforms. In addition to performing advanced laundry operations, you will support the team by maintaining quality standards, assisting with training, and contributing to the smooth daily operation of the laundry department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced laundry tasks, including the care of delicate fabrics and special garment treatments.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain laundry equipment while reporting maintenance issues when necessary.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure garments, uniforms, and linens meet luxury hospitality standards before delivery.
• Support Team Leaders by monitoring workflow and ensuring timely completion of daily laundry operations.
• Assist in training and mentoring new Laundry Attendants on equipment, garment care, and standard operating procedures.
• Manage stain removal, garment care, and special laundry requests, including VIP guest items.
• Monitor linen and uniform inventory while reporting shortages and supporting stock control.
• Maintain accurate laundry records and assist with operational reporting when required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and chemical handling procedures.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office, and other hotel departments to manage urgent laundry requests efficiently.

What We're Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in Laundry Operations within a luxury hotel or international hospitality environment.
• Experience handling delicate fabrics, stain removal, and specialized garment care.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to support team training and promote operational best practices.
• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Certificate in Laundry Operations or Hospitality is considered an advantage.
• Professional appearance with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
