Please read the Job Description - Specifically Looking for a self starter, experienced CONTROLLER WITH  LOW INCOME HOUSING TAX CREDIT REAL PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT Experience REQUIRED.  (LIHTC)

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Previous supervisory and management experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Completion and implementation of internal controls.
• Thorough understanding of LIHTC industry and reporting
• Completion and issuance of state agency cost certifications
• 10% Test
• Reconciliation of Job Cost Accounting to the Financial Statements
• Issuance of financial audits in accordance with GAAP
• Coordination of issuance of tax returns.
• Timely reporting of financial statement reporting to meet the strict 45-day end of the year reporting period requirement.    
• Thorough understanding of construction draws and funding requirements for real estate development.

• EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Degree In Accounting, Finance or related required.

• Master’s Degree (preferably MBA| master’s in Finance, Accounting, Business or related) and/or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred
• Big 4 or any public accounting experience preferred
• Low Income Housing Tax Credit Development experience required

• Experience with developing controls, procedures required.
• Experience with ERP implementation & report automation required.
