Client is expanding the team and looking to fill and FP&A Analyst Role- 

  • Assist with the preparation of presentations of financial & operational business results. 
  • Work with and collaborating with peers to perform ad-hoc analysis.
  • Assist in driving standardization, and automation of all management reporting.
  • Develop and maintain Financial Planning system used for budgeting/forecasting & reporting
  • Assist with end of month financial close variance review (forecast vs. actual), as well as financial and operational metric reporting
  • Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
  • Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
  • Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses, studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
  • Increases Finance team productivity by developing automated accounting applications, coordinating information requirements.
  • Assistance with month end close process, as needed
  • Other financial and operational analysis and duties as needed
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required, MBA or other Master’s degree preferred
  • FP&A designation preferred, or in process of obtaining either. Other certifications a plus 
  • 5-7 years of experience in QuickBooks Enterprise or similar accounting packages
  • Create recommendations to be presented to management and executives
  • Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting
  • Reconcile existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data
