ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Our client is an innovative finance workspace, wanting to create a unified financial memory across systems and AI agents to run workflows end-to-end across apps, teams, and data, looking for a CTO to build our platform from scratch.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for Co-founder-level responsibility and upside you want to shape the product, team, and company from the ground up.

A technical leader who will write code, build features, ship fast, and iterate in ultra-short cycles. We execute in days, not weeks.

The CTO is prolific at building product-grade integrations across a wide range of third-party tools from ERPs, banks, and POSs to CRMs, email, shared drives, spreadsheets, dashboards, and more enabling a financial data layer that powers extraction, processing, and AI-driven insights across the stack.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead product development from zero to one iterate quickly to ship the MVP, then scale

  • Design the architecture and build the backend and frontend foundation of our agentic platform

  • Partner with the CEO and COO on product strategy and hiring

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Engineer-first builder you still code daily but think like a CTO

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, comfortable leading and communicating in both

  • Have led technical teams, ideally as a Tech Lead at a fast-paced, product-driven company

  • Have built and shipped product from scratch from zero to live, not just features

  • Comfortable creating and leading a high-velocity engineering culture speed, iteration, and ownership are default.
  • Actively exploring AI/LLM tools you stay current and hands-on with the latest tech

  • Fluent in building with APIs and LLMs, and designing scalable system architectures

  • Strong across backend development and system integrations especially in fragmented or data-rich environments

  • Bonus: exposure to fintech products or finance workflows, either as a developer or a founder whos felt the pain firsthand
