Role Overview / 職務概要
We are looking for a hands-on technical Senior Product Manager based in Tokyo to help shape and push our product forward. As a core member of our product and engineering team, you will contribute to our innovation roadmap, especially for the Japanese market. This role focuses on products for both our store partners and our tourist app.

Reports to: Product Lead (USA), dotted line to Japan CEO (Tokyo).
Location: Tokyo, Japan (Hybrid).

Key Responsibilities / 主な職務内容
Strategy & Tactics: Drive the strategy and timelines for building engagement across consumer and merchant products.
Product Development: Partner with global engineering to build platforms for customer data, personalization, and experimentation.
Innovation: Develop industry-leading features that serve store partners via design and clever applications of data.
Collaboration: Work with the Japan team to understand customer pain points and define solutions with the global organization.
Integration: Scope and define integration projects with other technology partners.
Requirements / 応募要件
Must-Have
Language: Fluency in both (written and spoken) Japanese and English.
Experience: 5+ years of product management or equivalent experience.
Analytical Skills: Experience driving growth initiatives with deep data analysis capabilities.
Customer Empathy: Ability to shape product execution based on customer needs and pain points.
Mindset: A humble, "scrappy," and "get-it-done" mindset with comfort in ambiguity.
Strategic Thinking: Strong logical structuring abilities and a data-driven mentality.
Residency: Lives in Japan with a valid working permit.
Nice to Have
Experience in startup or high-growth environments (especially Travel/Fintech/Retail).
Knowledge of tax-free shopping or cross-border commerce.
Ability to build processes from zero.
