Position Title

Commercial Legal Consultant

Position Purpose

To provide high-level commercial and legal advisory services to the firm and its clients, support business growth and expansion initiatives, manage contractual and commercial risks, and contribute to the development of strategic legal solutions that protect and advance clients' business interests.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in commercial legal practice.
  • At least 6 years of experience with recognized law firms, legal consultancy firms, or professional services organizations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent.
  • Excellent command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Legal Advisory

  • Provide legal advice on commercial, corporate, and investment matters.

  • Support clients in commercial decision-making and strategic transactions.

Contracts & Agreements

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage:

    • Commercial contracts.
    • Partnership agreements.
    • Investment agreements.
    • Franchise agreements.
    • Service and supply contracts.
    • Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs).

Corporate & Business Support

  • Advise on corporate structures and business expansion.
  • Support investment projects and strategic partnerships.
  • Participate in negotiations with clients, investors, and business partners.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and review corporate governance policies.
  • Support risk management and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Client Relations

  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
  • Represent the firm in meetings, negotiations, and business discussions.
  • Contribute to client development and retention initiatives.
