Job Details
The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing (HD&A) is seeking Microsoft Power Platform Developers to join the Health Business Systems (HBS) Branch, which delivers and manages a suite of Microsoft Dynamics 365 business applications.
The D365 platform is a strategic business solution enabling better collaboration, resource optimisation, and delivery of integrated outcomes across the department.
Working within Agile Release Trains (ARTs) in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), each scrum team operates under a DevOps model, taking responsibility for both delivery and operational support.
As a Microsoft Power Platform Developer, you will design, develop, implement, and support business systems, working collaboratively with product owners, developers, and testers to deliver secure, high-quality digital solutions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with development teams and product owners to create innovative software solutions aligned with architectural patterns and design standards.

Create and enhance new and existing applications built on the Microsoft D365 Platform.

Work as part of an Agile team to design, develop, implement, and support technical solutions that deliver business outcomes.

Participate in code reviews, providing feedback for quality assurance.

Develop Microsoft Power Platform-based solutions in accordance with agreed designs and requirements.

Produce and maintain solution documentation, configuration notes, and deployment artefacts.

Provide feedback on requirement/user story reviews and solution designs.

Contribute to release, deployment, and implementation documentation.

Operate within a DevOps framework to support deployed solutions.
Selection Criteria

Essential Criteria

Must have experience in an Agile/SAFe environment.

Must have experience using DevOps tools.

Minimum 3 years experience as a Microsoft Power Platform Developer and D365 Online CRM Developer in a large organisation.

Experience developing and implementing CRM Portal or ADX Portal solutions.

Strong communication skills, with ability to document and explain technical designs clearly.
Desirable Criteria

Experience working within the Federal Government environment.

Relevant formal qualifications and certifications.

High competency in CRM form programming (JavaScript).
-
Experience and high competency in Custom Page Integration.
