About The Role

Strategic Finance Analyst Intern will be working within the CEO Office team on supporting financial decisions, financial analytics, financial process and data products (automated dashboards, reports, & budgeting tools) which will create business impact at scale in regards to business in general, operational, and finance metrics. 

The main purpose of Strategic Finance stream within CEO Office/Strategy is to assist the CEO and Chief Strategy Officer on making company-wide analysis that would be affecting Pinhome future direction and decisions with a focus on optimizing Pinhomes ROI in each product vertical. This team is dedicated to providing, ensuring quality, developing self-service financial data products, and project managing strategic project financial and operational that drives significance for company growth.

What You Will Do

  • Financial and commercial initiatives (including but not limited to joint venture, M&A analysis, financial related partnership, financial process revamp, investor relations)
  • Deliver insight, analysis using statistical tools, data visualization and business use case to product and business team

  • Perform high-level analysis on company level perspective including customer-centric analysis, budgeting analysis, & unit economics analysis.

  • Building & maintaining dashboards for tracking OKR, company performance, & unit economics.

  • Partnering with Business teams to help them create decisions based on decision science and driving strategic projects on the ground if needed.

  • Project manage, advise, and drive initiatives to help head of department and CEO in making financial and operational decisions

  • Project manage high value asset maintenance projects and commercial feasibility


What You Will Need

  • Bachelors degree / student for intern in a relevant field of study (finance, accounting, statistics). Top public/private university background with outstanding academic record.
  • Comfortable working both independently with minimal guidance and in a team setting
  • Ability to use critical thinking daily to manage daily tasks while being goal-oriented
  • Ability to transform an ambiguous business or product problem into a well-scoped and impactful analysis; able to design simple experiments
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills; a track record of following through on commitments; excellent planning, organizational, and time management skill

  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
