Location: Alabang (On-site), Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, Philippines

Position Summary:

The Operations Lead Accounting plays a critical role in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial processes. This role leads a team of accounting professionals, supports month-end and year-end close activities, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in financial operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and experienced in managing accounting functions within a fast-paced BPO environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the accounting operations team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
  • Has strong experience with general accounting, contract management, auditing, claims, tax calculations, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Collaborate with Finance Manager and other departments to streamline accounting workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to ensure team productivity and service quality.
  • Assist in audits, both internal and external, by preparing documentation and responding to queries.
  • Implement and maintain accounting systems and tools, ensuring data integrity and usability.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in a BPO or shared services environment is highly desirable.
  • Supported clients in the automotive industry on a BPO setup is a plus.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be willing to work fully onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa.
  • Must be amenable to a night‑shift work schedule.
