Job Summary

We are hiring a Sr. Accountant (Income Tax) to manage taxation and accounting operations for a reputed agro‑chemical manufacturing company in Raipur. The role requires strong expertise in income tax compliance, return filing, and statutory reporting, along with proficiency in Tally ERP for day‑to‑day accounting. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial documentation, timely tax submissions, and support audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations using Tally ERP software
• Ensure accurate calculation and filing of income tax returns (ITR)
• Handle TDS, advance tax, and other direct tax compliances
• Prepare and reconcile financial statements, ledgers, and MIS reports
• Maintain records for taxation, audits, and statutory compliance
• Liaise with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities for tax matters
• Support budgeting, cost control, and financial planning activities
• Ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness in financial documentation

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com / CA (Inter) qualification (mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with specialization in income tax
• Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS‑Office (Excel, Word)
• Strong knowledge of direct tax laws, TDS, and compliance procedures
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage taxation functions in a manufacturing environment
