Job Summary
A reputed international commodity trading firm in Raipur is hiring a Chartered Accountant to manage core Finance & Accounts functions. This is a full-time role ideal for freshly qualified CAs or professionals with up to 2 years of experience. The role covers accounting, taxation, audits, and financial compliance across domestic and international operations.
Role Overview
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, preparing financial statements, handling GST and TDS filings, coordinating audits, and ensuring statutory compliance. The role offers exposure to trading finance, vendor payments, and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handle GST, TDS, and income tax filings and ensure timely compliance with all statutory requirements
- Coordinate with auditors and assist in the completion of internal and statutory audits Ensure compliance with financial regulations and deadlines
- Support budgeting, vendor payments, and MIS reporting
- Liaise with banks, consultants, and government departments as needed
- Manage trading finance activities, including vendor payments and internal controls
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement
- Provide support to the finance team in various ad-hoc projects and initiatives
- Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Eligibility
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Completed
- Experience: 0-2 years in Finance & Accounts
- Note: CA Inter or CMA candidates are not eligible
- Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and income tax compliance
- Ability to prepare and review financial statements
- Familiarity with audit processes and statutory filings
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Good Communication and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
