Job Overview:

We are hiring an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a  reputed steel foundry equipped with Electric Arc Furnaces (EAF) of 5 MT & 15 MT, Induction Arc Furnace (IAF) of 3 MT, and EOT Cranes ranging from 3 MT to 50 MT. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and foundry operations. This role ensures optimal equipment performance, troubleshooting, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee mechanical maintenance of EAF, IAF, and EOT cranes
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and AAR M-1003
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults in high-pressure molding lines (HPML), induction furnaces, and arc furnaces
• Optimize hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems for foundry operations
• Maintain mechanical safety standards and documentation
• Collaborate with vendors for spare parts and system upgrades

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 5-10 years of experience in steel foundry mechanical maintenance
• Expertise in hydraulic systems, gearboxes, and rotating equipment
• Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance techniques
• Familiarity with machining, welding, and fabrication processes

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with induction furnaces, arc furnaces, and high-pressure molding lines
• Understanding of condition monitoring and vibration analysis
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
