Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Murex Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Murex modules and workflows, with strong hands-on experience across MxML, Datamart, and market data components. You will work closely with business and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions in Murex that meet dynamic trading, back office, and settlement requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance MxML Workflows, including mappings, formulas, and templates.
- Configure and maintain Datamart reporting and back-office functionalities.
- Manage Market Data (Real-time RTBS, Batch MDCS) configuration and support.
- Design and optimize Contract Deliverables, Event Exchange Workflows, and associated processes.
- Configure Trade Validation, Confirmation, Matching, and Settlement Workflows.
- Develop and maintain MxML interfaces (e.g., Markitwire, Mx Package Interface).
- Implement and unit test Murex formulas, ensuring robustness and efficiency.
- Configure and manage Static Data, Instrument Setup, and Operating Models.
- Setup and support Market Data components including Curves and Pricing Data.
- Collaborate with business teams for Pre-Trade workflows, MSL, and eTradepad functionalities.
- Utilize Murex Launcher Services to manage application components.
- Ensure high performance through workflow design optimization and interface tuning.
- Support integration with external systems and third-party services.
- Write and maintain SQL scripts and Unix shell scripts for automation and monitoring.
- Maintain awareness of OSP (Operational Service Processes) and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Murex Developer with strong domain expertise.
- In-depth knowledge of MxML structures, mappings, and integration workflows.
- Experience with Datamart, Trade Processing, and Back Office configurations.
- Solid understanding of financial instruments FX, FXO, EQD, MM, etc.
- Good working knowledge of Market Data setup and configuration.
- Proficiency in SQL, Unix scripting, and workflow debugging.
- Strong understanding of Trade Lifecycle and associated Murex processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to DevOps, Agile tools, and automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance requirements in Murex.
