Our Client, a safari lodge in Botswana's Ngoma region, is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join their team.

Our client is a premier luxury destination in the Botswana Ngoma region. They are dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for their guests while preserving the areas natural beauty and biodiversity. Our Client seeks a dynamic and professional Executive Chef to lead their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee kitchen operations and ensure food quality and consistency.
- Plan and develop menus that align with customer preferences and trends.
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Control costs by managing budgets, food inventory, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure hygiene and safety compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with management and front-of-house teams for smooth service.
- Stay updated with culinary trends and drive innovation in the kitchen.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role in 4* lodges.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Proven leadership in training and developing kitchen teams
- Passion for fresh, seasonal and sustainable produce
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems under pressure.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- A passion for hospitality and commitment to creating unforgettable guest experiences.
