Installer

A talented and dynamic candidate is sought by our client in the Telecommunications sector to join their Technical team as an Installer. The successful individual will report to the Planning & Support Manager and will be responsible for on-site installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Drilling and mounting of brackets and equipment
• Radio Installation
• Cabling
• Tower Support and Installation

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

• BGCSE or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Proven experience (1-2 years) in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi)
• Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and installation plans
• Knowledge of fibre splicing, testing tools
• Basic understanding of network security and safe installation practices

Additional Requirements:

• Valid drivers licence (advantageous) and willingness to travel to client sites
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently.
