Our Client, a safari lodge in Botswana's Ngoma region, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team.

Our client is a premier luxury destination in the Botswana Ngoma region. They are dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for their guests while preserving the areas natural beauty and biodiversity. Due to the growth and success of their lodge, they have several development projects underway. They seek a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead this development

The incumbent must have a good work-ethic and is able to guide, train and assist the staff under him/her.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To oversee the operational departments of the Lodge.
  • To work in liaison with the Lodge General Manager, the Maintenance Manager and Executive Chef of the Lodge.
  • To co-operate with authorities, political and social leaders in the Lodge-region as well as on a national basis, to ensure that the lodge is seen as an industry leader, a social programme participant and supporter and a benefit to the community as a whole.
  • To manage the HR responsibilities.
  • To oversee and manage general admin and reception.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of Guest-Relations
  • Oversee food and beverage department, including the bar and staff-canteen.
  • Oversee the implementation and introduction of daily tasks of the housekeeping department.
  • To maintain a high standard and reputation in the eyes of our peers and of fellow lodges and establishments in the industry.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Experience in working in the Tourism industry. (Lodges 4*)
  2. At least 6 years experience with at least 2 years in a management role.
  3. Degree / Diploma in Hospitality
  4. Driver's License
  5. Knowledge in how to deal with staff and guests.
  6. Must be eligible to work in Botswana
