Camp Hostess/Child-minder (educator)

Our Client, in the wildlife, tourism and hospitality industry is seeking an experienced Camp Hostess/Child-minder (educator).

ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Our client is situated on an exclusive concession in the Northern Tuli Game Reserve in eastern Botswana. They offer wilderness experiences, from nature game drives and walks to accommodation in tented safari camps and self-catering accommodation. They seek a highly skilled and motivated Camp Hostess/Child-minder (educator) to join their team.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Hosting and ensuring that our guests are well looked after
• Assisting with town trips / shopping and getting supplies for the camps.
• Ensuring that all supplies are packed away correctly immediately upon their arrival
• Ensuring that food and drink stock controls are maintained effectively
• Undertaking room checks in the camps prior to guest arrival
• Management of the housekeeping stocks
• Reports directly to management and keeps management updated of any issues
• Assist as a child-minder to 7 year old for a few hours each day

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. 2 years experience in a similar role
2. Driver's License
3. English spoken as first language
4. Has good management and organisational skills
5. Good with children
6. Must be eligible to work in Botswana
