Compressor Technician

Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Compressor Technician. The purpose of the job is to install, maintain, and repair air compressors and related systems in order to ensure efficient and safe operation. To inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose problems, adjust and repair equipment, and perform preventative maintenance. They may also be required to provide technical assistance and customer service, order parts and supplies, and keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair air compressors.
• Perform regular inspections and troubleshooting on air compressors.
• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of air compressors.
• Carry out tests and repairs and required.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers.

Requirements:

• 3 years of professional experience in similar roles.
• Sales experience will be an added advantage.
• Must be knowledgeable on Ingersoll Rand, Compair & Atlas Copco Compressors.
• Must be able to read and understand electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Able to use hand tools and specialized air compressor maintenance equipment.
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be Fluent in English (Spoken).
• Must have good Customer services.
• Must have a Drivers license.

Salary Range: P5000 - P7000 depending on experience.
