Our Client in the Industrial Automation Industry is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Software Sales Executive to join their Team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical sales, focusing on Industrial Automation Software Solutions and Services. You will identify new business opportunities with existing clients, build relationships with key stakeholders, and drive sales to achieve their growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and understand the entire product and services portfolio, collaborating with the technical team to thoroughly grasp the softwares' capabilities and features, enabling confident pitching of the various benefits to End Users.
  • Be capable of visiting a client's plant, assessing their current setup, and recommending additional software to enhance their operations.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve targets, expand customer base and assist end users on their digital transformation journey.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training and provide technical information to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate Annual contracts and close agreements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
  • Team up with hardware sales team to:
    • Offer best in class package deals to clients.
    • Use existing hardware installed base as a foundation to offer value-add software solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the technical or industrial software sector.
  • A strong understanding of plant technical operations and industrial automation solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide solutions accordingly.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
