Our Client, a leading accounting, company secretarial, tax and financial services firm based in Botswana is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead their Client Financial Information Processing Section which has teams in all of their locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the teams processing of financial information for our clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong management and accounting skills, including the understanding of QuickBooks Online, as well as the ability to manage remote teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Client Financial Information Processing Team.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and fellow colleagues
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes.
  • Provide training and support to team members.
  • Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback.
  • Collaborate with other internal Sections to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • A member of good standing with BICA
  • Qualified/almost qualified ACCA/CA/CIMA
  • Proven experience in financial information processing and team management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with remote environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online as well as Microsoft Office suite
  • Have a detailed understanding of IFRS and Botswana GAAP as well as have a good grasp of Botswana Tax
