Finance Manager

Our client in the Financial Sector (non-bank) is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team.

Our Client is a leading financial service provider specializing in Purchase Order Financing. Their mission is to provide fast, reliable, and accessible financial solutions that enable businesses to fulfill their contractual obligations efficiently.

Job Brief:

The Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations, ensuring efficient financial management, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Capturing and overseeing financial information in accounting software program QuickBooks

• Managing bookkeeping software for each company (3)

• Electronic filing of all financial information

• Assisting in compiling NBFIRA reports for all companies (2).

• Capturing of payments on loan management system

• Financial reporting

• Develop internal audit controls

• Auditor liaison

• Assisting in vetting and affordability of clients

• Weekly reconciliation

• Investor account management

• BURS Submissions

• Payroll management

• Collections

• Financial management

• Reporting on Finance and loan book

• Loan book reconciliation and reporting

Qualifications:

• ACC AAT degree in accounting and finance

• Be a member of good standing with BICA

• 5 years experience in Microlending industry

• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Salary and Benefits

• P18000.00 - P30,000.00 (DOE)

• 50% Medical Aid

• Permanent Position

The successful candidate will be based in Gaborone and may be required to travel
