Job Summary
PJ Fitzpatrick is seeking a proactive and driven Sales Manager to lead our Northern New Jersey sales team. In this role, youll oversee sales operations, mentor and develop team members, and ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high sales standards and meeting established KPIs. Our ideal Sales Manager is motivated, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator, committed to helping each team member excel in their role.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and audit all new sales contracts for accuracy.
- Manage lead schedules, assigning qualified leads to Home Improvement Consultants (HICs).
- Develop, train, and mentor the sales team through weekly meetings, small group sessions, and regular ride-alongs (15+ per month).
- Coach and support HICs, focusing on both team and individual performance.
- Conduct customer follow-ups to address concerns and identify solutions for customer retention.
- Develop HIC coaches to support sales goals and professional growth.
Key Performance Indicators
- Net Sales Revenue: Achieve or exceed revenue goals.
- NSLI: Improve sales conversion rates.
- Sales Against Book Value: Meet or exceed sales values on scheduled projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in a sales management role, plus 3-5 years in sales.
- Strong background in technology use (iPad, Leap, Hover).
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, in-person and via Zoom.
- Proven track record of meeting sales goals.
- Motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills.
