Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain tools, equipment, supplies and work areas.
• Assist in shipping and receiving of materials, tallying, identification, records and information.
• Operating and Set-up the machine.
• Fit, align, and adjust the components.
• Working with hand and power tools to make adjustments.
• Lifting up to 50lbs
• Set up and operate machines to clean, cut, cook, smoke, brine, dehydrate or otherwise process products
• Set up and operate machines to can, bag, box or otherwise package products
• Check products and packaging for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards and perform corrective machine adjustments as required
• Record production information such as quantity, weight, date and type of products packaged
• Setup machine as required by drawing specifications
• Determine product dimensions, tooling, and to plan operational sequence by studying work orders, or machining instructions.
• Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
• Inspect or measure product through the use of measuring instruments to ensure conformance.

Requirements:

•  Education background in engineering, technician, instrumental & electrical field and any experience of working on a production line is required.
• Experience utilizing hand tools-drills, peaveys, chainsaws, wizards, hammers, tape measures etc.
• First Aid Certification, an asset
• Always demonstrate a strong focus on safety
• Support a respectful environment and works well in a team setting.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Ability to lift 50-75lbs continually
• Able to learn and acquire new skills
