Role Overview

We are hiring a proactive and hands-on Retail Manager to oversee daily operations of our supermarket. The ideal candidate will ensure high operational standards, excellent customer service, and strong team performance while driving sales and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring cleanliness, stock availability, and visual merchandising
  • Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service

  • Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and team performance

  • Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and implement strategies to meet targets
  • Maintain stock control, handle inventory planning, and reduce shrinkage

  • Ensure proper execution of promotions and pricing updates

  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations

  • Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and central office as needed

  • Report regularly to management on store performance and operational needs

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (preferred)
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in supermarket or large-format retail management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability

  • Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and inventory systems

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

  • Proficient in MS Office and retail POS systems
