Procurement Director

Overview:

Lead and manage all procurement activities across joinery and fit-out projects, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery from sourcing through installation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets
• Source and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors (local & international)
• Manage procurement of raw materials (wood, veneers, laminates, hardware, finishes) and FF&E items
• Establish and maintain supplier, distributor, and sub-distributor networks
• Oversee factory coordination, production planning, and quality control processes
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing agreements, and supplier performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and project requirements
• Monitor logistics, shipping, and delivery schedules to meet project deadlines
• Optimize cost, value engineering, and risk management across projects
• Collaborate with design, project management, and commercial teams

Requirements:

• Proven experience in procurement within joinery, woodworking, or fit-out industry
• Strong knowledge of materials, suppliers, and manufacturing processes
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
• Experience managing supply chains and international sourcing
• Commercially driven with strong cost-control mindset
• Leadership experience managing procurement teams
