Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Property Manager (Block) to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties, overseeing a team of property managers, and ensuring the efficient and effective management of all aspects of the properties.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a portfolio of properties, including residential and commercial buildings, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with all regulations and standards

- Oversee a team of property managers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, tenants, and other stakeholders

- Conduct regular property inspections and address any maintenance or repair issues in a timely manner

- Ensure all financial aspects of the properties are managed effectively, including budgeting, rent collection, and invoicing

- Monitor and manage lease agreements, ensuring all tenants are in compliance with their obligations

- Handle any tenant complaints or disputes, and take appropriate action to resolve them

- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and legislation, and implement any necessary changes to ensure compliance

- Prepare and present reports to senior management on the performance of the portfolio and any issues or concerns that may arise

- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall management of the properties

- Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in property management, real estate, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with at least 2 years in a senior/leadership role

- Strong knowledge of property management principles, practices, and regulations

- Excellent leadership and team management skills

- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal

- Strong financial management and budgeting skills

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software

- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
