Location: Bangalore - JP Nagar, 8th Phase  / On-Site (India)
Experience: 0 – 3 years (recruitment, sourcing, or research preferred)
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

The Talent Sourcer is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential candidates through various sourcing channels. This role focuses only on sourcing and first-level outreach, including availability and interest checks, and scheduling detailed discussions with the Recruitment Consultant. The Talent Sourcer does not conduct interviews or evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Candidate Sourcing


  • Source relevant candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, communities, referrals, and internal databases
  • Perform Boolean searches and talent mapping for niche gaming roles (design, art, engineering, production, QA, etc.)
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of active and passive candidates

2. Outreach & Engagement


  • Reach out to candidates via LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, and other approved channels
  • Share brief, accurate role information and company context

  • Check candidate availability, interest level, notice period, and preferred locations

3. Qualification (Light Screening Only)


  • Validate basic eligibility against role requirements (experience, skills, platform, engine exposure, location)
  • Clearly document candidate responses and expectations

  • Ensure consent to share profiles with clients


4. Scheduling & Coordination


  • Schedule candidate discussions with the Recruitment Consultant

  • Share complete and clean handover notes before the discussion

  • Coordinate reschedules and follow-ups where required


5. Data & Process Compliance


  • Maintain accurate records in ATS / trackers

  • Follow sourcing SOPs, outreach templates, and data hygiene standards
  • Provide daily and weekly sourcing updates


Skills & Attributes Required

  • Strong online research and Boolean search skills

  • Clear written communication (email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp)

  • Process-driven and detail-oriented

  • Comfortable working with targets and activity tracking

  • Basic understanding of game development roles is a plus (training provided)
