- It would require working hours roughly between 11:00am / 12:00pm / 13:00pm till 20:00pm / 21.00pm / 22:00pm (CEST), there’s 1 hour lunch break in between at your convenience

- Must have a portfolio that demonstrates relevant skills and tools developed


  • Create detailed and creative Character models and textures for in-game usage
  • Adjust in different art styles, that range between realistic and stylized (with a heavier emphasis on stylized)
  • Manage Assets through the established pipeline, from creation to in-engine setup
  • Help in Research & Development, expanding the visual quality while preserving performance
  • Work together with other Character and Tech Artists to maintain but also evolve an effective asset pipeline
  • Partner with Lead Artist and Character Lead to help reach the team target goal
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to identify and deal with issues before they arise
  • Buy into the established art vision and theme of the game and ensure this is delivered for the Characters in its entirety
  • Serve as Mentor for less experienced Character Artists and help them evolve their skills


  • 2.5+ years of professional experience as a Character Artist, in the Games Industry, with at least 1 Game released in the position
  • Thorough knowledge of Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Unity or Unreal Engine
  • Thorough knowledge of anatomy - proportions, muscle, and skeletal structures
  • Good understanding of form, shape language, and color
  • Good understanding of what adjustments is needed on the character creation process to benefit rigging
  • Work from concept, but also be creative and provide input for the direction of an asset
  • Knowing when to ‘throw something together’ for prototyping, when you need to sacrifice quality for time and when it’s time to polish
  • Love to collaborate and to work within a team. Willing to provide and accept direction and the ability to embrace change.
  • Love playing and creating games while thinking about how to take them to the next level
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


  • Experience with high-quality assets in games
  • Experience with game engine systems and their limitations around characters
  • Experience with Marvellous Designer and how to use it effectively in character pipeline
  • Experience with creating hard surface assets that are usually related to characters like weapons
