About the Role

As a Real Estate Associate based in our Los Angeles or Salt Lake City offices, you will serve as a strategic advisor on a wide array of high-profile property transactions. You will navigate every phase of the real estate lifecycle—from initial acquisition and development to complex financing and final disposition. This role is designed for a practitioner who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to integrate into a robust national practice that values professional growth and independent initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Transactional Leadership: Lead and support complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and large-scale developments.
• Real Estate Finance: Advise both borrowers and lenders in sophisticated real estate financing arrangements.
• Leasing & Operations: Navigate intricate commercial leasing agreements and provide counsel on property management and operational issues.
• Specialized Counseling: Provide legal guidance on common interest communities and other specialized real estate structures.
• Collaborative Execution: Deliver efficient legal services as a key member of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the highest quality of client service on a national scale.

Requirements

• Experience: 2-5 years of dedicated transactional real estate experience within a reputable law firm environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven track record handling acquisitions, developments, and representation of financial institutions in real estate matters.
• Bar Admission: Must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction for which you are applying (California or Utah).
• Academic Background: JD from an ABA-accredited law school with distinguished academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
• Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex deal flow for sophisticated clients.
