About the Role

In this position, you will focus on high-stakes employment litigation, taking on significant responsibility in complex wage and hour matters.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Litigating sophisticated California wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA cases.
  • Drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery requests.
  • Drafting and arguing key motions to advance case strategies.
  • Preparing witnesses for depositions, as well as taking and defending depositions.
  • Managing multiple litigation projects simultaneously from inception through resolution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Partnering closely with team members to deliver top-tier service and legal counsel.

What We're Looking For

Must Have:

  • 3 to 6 years of litigation experience.
  • Active California State bar license in good standing.
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Strong academic credentials paired with excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a highly collaborative team.

Nice to Have:

  • Significant experience in labor and employment law is preferred; however, candidates with strong core litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law will be considered.
