About the Role

In this position, you will manage complex employment litigation matters through all phases of the litigation lifecycle, with a particular focus on California-specific claims.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Defending clients against California wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA claims.
  • Managing cases independently from initial pleadings and discovery through to final resolution.
  • Writing and arguing high-stakes motions in court.
  • Taking and defending depositions of key parties, witnesses, and experts.
  • Providing strategic analysis and risk assessment for a varied portfolio of client matters.
  • Collaborating effectively with partners, junior associates, and support staff to drive successful case outcomes.

What We're Looking For

Must Have:

  • 3 or more years of dedicated employment litigation experience, with specific exposure to California wage-hour class actions and PAGA cases.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active California State bar license in good standing.
  • Strong academic credentials alongside excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset combined with the autonomy to work independently.
