About the Role
In this position, you will focus on high-stakes employment litigation, taking on significant responsibility in complex wage and hour matters.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Litigating sophisticated wage and hour class actions and collective actions.
- Drafting and arguing key motions, including motions to decertify conditional classes.
- Preparing witnesses for depositions, as well as taking and defending depositions.
- Managing multiple litigation projects simultaneously from inception through resolution.
- Conducting advanced legal research and writing to formulate creative, aggressive case strategies.
- Partnering closely with team members and clients to deliver top-tier service and legal counsel.
What We're Looking For
Must Have:
- 3 to 5 years of dedicated employment litigation experience.
- Proven proficiency handling wage and hour class and collective actions.
- Active New York State bar license in good standing.
- Strong academic credentials paired with excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a highly collaborative team.
- A proactive, self-starting approach with a strong commitment to professional development.
