About the Role
In this position, you will focus on high-stakes employment litigation, taking on significant responsibility in managing complex cases from start to finish.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Litigating sophisticated California wage-hour class actions, PAGA cases, and complex discrimination and harassment matters.
- Drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery requests.
- Preparing and arguing key motions to advance case strategies.
- Preparing witnesses for depositions, as well as taking and defending depositions.
- Managing multiple litigation projects efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Partnering closely with team members to serve a diverse and dynamic client base on cutting-edge legal issues.
What We're Looking For
Must Have:
- 4 to 6 years of dedicated employment litigation experience.
- Active California State bar license in good standing.
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Strong academic credentials paired with excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
- A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to thrive both independently and within a team-oriented culture.
