The infrastructure database operation is responsible for installation, backup ,replication and performance monitoring of all databases and all programs installed on the databases.
Is required to ensure the proper installation test backup commit no any lost transaction from replication check and make sure with performance .
Essential part of his role is to provide database technical lead and coordinate with other infrastructure managers for the proper design of all new introduced applications to ensure the highest availability, performance and data consistency and confidentiality. Database operation also plan and manage the budgets for database technology provisioning and updates required to lead the banking business services automation with agility and speed.
·Responsible for database performance and all dependant services through on-going tuning and database maintenance process.
·Responsible for database backup and all dependant services through on-going tuning and database maintenance process.

·Calculate, plan and recommend scalable system capacity requirements with respect to historical usage and growth projections.

·Mentoring the Database team in Monitor and tune databases, housekeeping processes, and other optimization processes through the establishment of automated processes (including scripts and tools), or manually in the absence of the requisite tools.
·Review and quality check any queries, stored procedures, and scripts of application developers/vendor to insure operations is running correctly without any negative impact to production.
·Design the procedure of the backups and housekeeping activities of the production databases are completed according to schedules.
·Overseeing the annual Database Technology budget and ensuring cost effectiveness.
· developing budget strategies to increase the organization profitability.
·Take Technology Decisions to Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
·Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
·Analyse business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
·Mentor and Manage Database staff by training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
·promote a collaborative environment within and across IT teams
·Taking lead in managing teams, setting goals, building capabilities, coaching and providing feedback, driving change and innovating ideas. transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
·Mentor and coach Database team members including recognizing and recommending training requirements.

Proven and effective experience of the management of various databases technologies
From 4 to more of professional experience database administration and Information technology experience
Understanding of IT industry working practices / methodologies ITIL Knowledge
Budget estimation and budget control of database function
People management skills in order to mentor database teams
ITIL Foundation knowledge
Project Management understanding - Ability to plan and control projects
Understanding of Networking principles
This is a highly skilled technical position that involves intricate knowledge of Oracle and its various components including RAC, RAC One Node, RMAN, and Golden Gate. High level database configuration, tuning, maintenance, patching, and problem diagnosis and resolution are all critical functions that the database manager will oversee.
