Duties and responsibilities:

  • Build responsive interfaces utilizing HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and jQuery.
  • Work with a PHP MVC framework to develop web applications and services.
  • Integrate data into applications from various data sources including databases, web services, and APIs.
  • Develop high quality, optimized and secure code.
  • Test, debug, and document software according to the functional requirements.
  • Work and communicate in a professional team environment.
  • Collaborate with the team and with company partners in troubleshooting, design, and interoperability.

Job Requirements

Education Level

Graduation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.

Years of Experience:

From: 3 To: 5

Other Requirements

  • Experience developing complex web applications using PHP.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, and AJAX.
  • Experience with writing optimized SQL.
  • Experience with development within an MVC Framework like Symphony, Laravel, CodeIgniter or Zend.
  • Experience with HTML framework like Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with creating and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments with good command-line knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of Version Control Systems.
  • Knowledge of other programming languages like Java and Python is a plus.

Personal Characteristics

  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Retail industry experience is a plus.
  • Consumer finance experience is a plus.
