About the job Civil Engineer
Role Overview:
As a Civil Engineer at Plutus21 Partners, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and supervise civil and structural engineering projects from concept to completion
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, reports, and specifications using AutoCAD and other relevant software
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, flagging risks and proposing solutions proactively
- Review and evaluate contractor proposals, BOQs, and material submittals
- Maintain accurate project documentation including progress reports, as-built drawings, and correspondence
- Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies as required for approvals and permits
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. or B.S.) from a recognized institution; PEC registration is required
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in civil/structural engineering, preferably in real estate, infrastructure, or construction
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, and/or relevant design/analysis software
- Solid understanding of Pakistani building codes, SECP regulations, and local construction practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment
