We are seeking a detail-oriented Cash and Reconciliation Associate Manager to oversee the reconciliation of cash accounts and monitor bank transactions across multiple financial systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of cash-related records, reinforcing strong financial controls, and managing high-volume cash operations. This role is critical for detecting and resolving discrepancies, supporting audit requirements, and driving continuous process improvements in cash management.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Reconciliation and Operations

  • Oversee daily, periodic, and monthly reconciliation of multiple bank accounts and financial systems to ensure alignment with the general ledger.
  • Track and monitor cash inflows and outflows, including collections, payments, and fund transfers.
  • Investigate and resolve open reconciling items such as variances, missing entries, duplicate postings, and unidentified transactions.
  • Coordinate with Accounting, Treasury, AP, AR, and banking partners to resolve reconciliation issues.
  • Monitor aged reconciling items and escalate unresolved cases to management when necessary.

Cash Control and Compliance

  • Support the implementation of internal control measures for cash handling and reconciliation processes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.
  • Identify operational risks and control weaknesses, recommending corrective actions to strengthen governance.
  • Maintain audit-ready reconciliation files and assist in both internal and external audit reviews.

Reporting and Financial Analysis

  • Prepare reconciliation reports, variance analysis, and exception reports for management review.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure accurate reporting of cash balances in financial statements.
  • Analyze recurring issues and transaction patterns to determine root causes and drive improvements.

Systems and Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of reconciliation workflows.
  • Participate in ERP enhancements (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and automation initiatives for cash operations.
  • Contribute to the standardization of reconciliation procedures across various accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management Accounting, or Accounting Information Systems.
  • Certification: CPA certification is considered an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in bank reconciliation, cash operations, treasury support, or financial accounting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (specifically SAP) and various Bank Systems is highly preferred.

Work Setup: Onsite

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8AM to 5PM
