Job Summary
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s overall accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective management of financial processes. The role leads the accounting team, monitors financial performance, supports budgeting activities, and ensures the integrity of financial records and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements.

Budgeting & Financial Analysis

• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Monitor company expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounting team.
• Ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of accounting deliverables.
• Support continuous process improvement within the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
