Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales growth within assigned accounts. The role requires understanding client technology needs, providing expert guidance, and recommending tailored solutions. The Business Development Manager will engage with key stakeholders, develop proposals, ensure smooth revenue processing, and maintain compliance with contractual obligations.
This position is ideal for candidates with a proven track record in sales, client management, and business development within the telco or fintech sector.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify client challenges and propose effective solutions, creating demand even when initial needs may not be evident.
- Utilize market research and industry insights to inform and enhance the sales approach.
- Forecast potential business opportunities and track future prospects.
Key Account Management
- Conduct consultations and presentations with stakeholders across client organizations.
- Coordinate across internal business and support teams to meet client requirements while protecting the organization’s interests.
Negotiation and Deal Closing
- Develop comprehensive business proposals addressing client requirements with appropriate technical solutions.
- Analyze client decision-making processes and stakeholder profiles to optimize engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful deal closure.
Process and Contract Compliance
- Ensure accurate revenue processing and timely collections.
- Maintain compliance with contract terms and take proactive steps to address non-compliance.
- Evaluate risks, recommend mitigations, and manage contract changes in consultation with stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities
- Coordinate dependencies across business and support teams to fulfill client requirements efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or Latin Honors are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years in business development, sales, or account management.
- Demonstrated experience working with senior management, both internally and externally.
- Proven track record in pitching new business and generating revenue through lead development and account management.
- Prior experience in corporate or business-focused environments.
- Basic understanding of the telco or fintech industry.
- Strong business acumen with strategic planning capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to leverage experience, industry insights, and judgment to achieve objectives.
