Role Overview
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure environments across complex operational and project-based initiatives. This role focuses on maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable network services while supporting infrastructure modernization, migration activities, and operational stability.
The position requires strong hands-on expertise in enterprise networking, troubleshooting, infrastructure deployment, and service improvement within large-scale or global environments.
Key Responsibilities
Network Infrastructure & Operations
- Design, implement, monitor, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure environments.
- Support installation, configuration, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance of network systems and services.
- Manage day-to-day network operations and support infrastructure-related projects.
- Design and implement network solutions to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Support enterprise WAN/LAN and network security infrastructure across multiple environments.
- Install, configure, and support network technologies including routing, switching, and DDI platforms (DNS, DHCP, IP address management).
Project Delivery & Migration Support
- Lead or support end-to-end network deployment and infrastructure migration initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance during system integration and migration activities.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support global infrastructure programs and associated technical documentation requirements.
Incident & Problem Management
- Manage incidents, problem resolution, and change activities related to network and security infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and participate in critical incident response activities.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Identify operational risks and implement long-term solutions to improve service stability.
Automation, Compliance & Documentation
- Support automation initiatives through scripting and infrastructure automation practices.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, operational controls, and audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation including network diagrams, inventory records, traffic flows, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Support vulnerability remediation and infrastructure audit activities.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise network engineering, infrastructure operations, and deployment projects.
- Strong experience in enterprise WAN/LAN environments and network security infrastructure.
